UPDATE: After a few listens, the album has definitely grown on me. I usually don’t enjoy “downbeat” songs, but “Slowdancing in a Burning Room” and “Stop This Train” are two of the most beautiful, poignant, genuine songs I’ve heard in a long time.
2ND UPDATE (9-1-06): They have now removed everything but the single, “Waiting on the World to Change”. That’s how they get you: they give you some for free and then they take it away and expect you to buy the darn thing on September 12.
