Sinus Infections: Worse than The Sniffles, Not as Bad as The Plague

I stayed home sick from work yesterday, and it turns out I have a sinus infection. I think I have expelled about half a gallon of mucus from my body over the last four days, and I just keep wondering: where is this all coming from? My guess? Snot Fairy.

Being sick when there's a war really puts things in perspective. I am just sitting there on the couch, flipping the channels, thinking: "ugh, this sucks, I have a really bad headache." Then I get to CNN where this Lebanese lady's children are being carried to a mass grave.

The only thing I could think at that point was: "Thank you God for this headache. It's really not so bad."

On a more joyous note--and speaking of Sinuses--one f the true gems of Austin, Texas is the Mister Sinus Theater show at the Alamo Drafthouse. Check it out: http://www.sinusshow.com/. Shows I've seen there: Dirty Dancing, The Terminator, The Christmas Special (definitely the best), and Crossroads. TOTALLY worth the money. If you are in Austin, just go already. They are skewering Point Break this month.
