Episode 1 of Abouna has been selected for the Davis Film Festival. It will be showing at 8:30 pm on Sunday November 5 at the Veteran’s Theater in Davis, CA (203 E. 14th Street). Thank you to the Davis Film Festival for their time and consideration.
“Abouna” is a film series about a new priest who is in over his head. Fr. Beemen Kolta has just been ordained in the Coptic Orthodox Church, and he quickly discovers that there’s much more to being a priest than he expected.
Tickets for evening shows will be sold at the door. They’re $10, or $8.50 for students and seniors.
